About the Presenters:

Nancy Benner, Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement

Nancy Benner is an Associate at the Center for the Support of Families, working on site at the Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement where she heads up the EFT/EDI project to encourage employers to send their child support payments electronically. For this work she received the "Government Partner" recognition award from the American Payroll Association at their 2003 annual Congress. She is also responsible for development of publications and other materials to promote employer awareness and compliance in child support requirements like new hire reporting and income withholding.

Nancy Benner received her BA in English from Duke University and her MA, also in English, from the University of Pennsylvania. She has been an Associate at the Center for the Support of Families for 14 years. Previous to that she spent 8 years in the field of international marketing and research.

Lynnetta Thompson, Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement

Lynnetta Thompson has been with the Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement since November 1999. She worked as an Information Technology Specialist in the Division of State and Tribal Systems where she conducted systems certification reviews/audits for states within the mid-western region before joining the Employer Services Team in 2004. She currently works with the team in assisting states and employers on issues involving New Hire Reporting, Electronic Income Withholding, Medical Support and other child support related issues. Prior to joining OCSE, she worked 13 years in human resources.
