Farm Credit Services of America Selects PeopleComeFirst Learning from Genesys for Enterprise-Wide Learning and Competency Management

METHUEN, Mass. — September 16, 2003 — Genesys, a provider of software and outsourcing services for learning management, human resource management, payroll, benefits, and performance management, announced today that Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica), a major regional agricultural lender serving Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota a nd Wyoming, has selected PeopleComeFirst Learning for learning and competency management.

PeopleComeFirst Learning gives FCSAmerica, headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, the ability to centralize learning and professional development. PeopleComeFirst's ability to support a wide range of e-learning content - from custom training to off-the-shelf Microsoft Office courseware, competency management strengths, and HRIS integration capabilities were among the primary selection factors.

After the initial introduction and rollout of the learning and competency management system to the entire FCSAmerica association in November 2003, PeopleComeFirst Learning will be instrumental in delivering and managing the training for the product launch of the company's new loan origination system.

"Our philosophy is to view learning as a continual process, not an isolated event," said Nina Swanson, director of organizational learning and development for FCSAmerica. "PeopleComeFirst Learning will help employees take greater responsibility for their own training and development. Additionally, it gives our leaders the ability to directly link learning to specific job competencies and development plans. We actively promote learning within our organization because we believe it helps employees be adaptable to change and strongly correlates to excellent customer service."

"Genesys' partnership approach to business will enable us to configure PeopleComeFirst to meet our unique goals and to phase in additional functionality as needed by our organization," said Swanson.

"Farm Credit Services of America is recognized as an employer of choice," said Steve Munini, director of advanced technology for Genesys and chief developer of PeopleComeFirst Learning. "We are proud to count FCSAmerica among our clients and are looking forward to working with them to meet their learning goals."
